Hi. My name is Yuna and I go to school at JHS185. I have always wanted to play the korean drum since I was little, but my mom never let me. I just wanted to ask ... is it hard to play the jang-go because when I saw you play it at our school, it looked really complicated but fun.

ReplyDeleteI am so glad you are interested in playing Janggo. Drumming is one of the most enjoyable music activity. Especially Janggo is the most popular and easy to approach music instrument in Korea. It has used from farmer's carnival in rice field to court music orchestra in palace. I would say learning Janggo is one of the best way to understand Korean culture and 'HEART'.
